Don't risk it.
I want to open a new current account and credit card, but I am going to wait until I have the keys to my new place! I will then apply for my new credit that very same day.
On a related note, should I enter my current address on the credit applications in the above scenario? I do not really want to wait months for electoral register to update.0 -
@danijam who is your mortgage with that has a 9 month window? I’m looking at a new build with a 5-6 month exchange to completion delay0

how much are you going over the 8k by? Surely this incentive is there regardless so your house can still have a fully kitted kitchen, carpets throughout, built in wardrobe etc? This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
