Any one heard of this company. They contacted me re my house (not interested BTW) but interested in who they are and what they are about as it seems a bit odd!

Well they don't have a website that I can see and any googling brings up this post as one of the first hits.

My money is on a scam of some description

If you are going to name your company after a website address, you would think they would have a wesbite up and running.

And if they are active in the UK, you would think their youtube advert would use an British accent.

Also, if active in the UK, buy back firms must follow strict rules. This includes no cold calling and no mailshots. They must also be regulated by the FCA. Having checked the FCA register, this firm is not listed (FCA register also checks trading names and website addresses but no match).

So, how did they contact you?

My house was for sale last year and is on Pre-Loved still and he emailed me directly. I said no as I’m really not interested and it felt decidedly dodgy!
