When the mobile contracts are within three months of ending research options for SIM only deals from other suppliers, then call your own supplier and inform them that you'll be leaving at the end of the contract as you've found a deal for £10 a month (or whatever) from Plusnet (or whoever) and see what they come up with, EE are certainly open to the idea of waiving the final couple of months on contracts and switching people straight over to price-matched SIM only deals and I bet others will do the same to avoid losing the business. Chances are by just rolling off onto the same contract but without the cost of paying for a phone included will mean you will still be overpaying.

Thanks again EssexHebridean! I'll look into the diary page this evening. I'm definitely going to take your advice and look into the high interest accounts and save our 0% debt money in there and then pay it off in a oner! I'm also going to save the £45 oil money I was going to DD in there too. And then keep track manually of what was meant for savings or debts - guess putting it in the one place will see better interest.0

Don't put all your card debt onto your mortgage, you'll end up paying far more for it over longer. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
