Last minute question. My partner is not cooperating, so I'm not putting down his income at all. We're about to move in together, and I'm soon dropping my hours at work, so I'm putting in figures based on how things will be (the changes are happening later this month). I have the details and explanations ready for my high medical costs.
My question.. for the household bills, do I
a) Put down the full amounts, which will show a big deficit in my spending then explain to the OR
b) Put down the half amounts of rent, council tax etc. which will make my income and expenditure pretty much balance
Any last minute thoughts and advice would be great
Thanks so much

As your not a simple single or 50/50 joint i'd be inclined to go B, put your actual contributions, then in a notebook keep your notes on what percentage/total just in case the OR wants to know, so
Rent 200 (25% of 800)
Gas 20 (50% of 40)
Medicine 70 (100% of 70)
Etc etc
In the interview Don't volunteer any info unless asked & have your NI no. to hand as they use it for verification.
Include a £10ea for leisure, haircuts, social etc if you haven't already, they are usually allowed expenses & will give you a buffer, the OR is not there to punish you, my guy was very reasonable. Good luck hopefully the worse will be over soon
