Property address wrong on mortgage offer

Hi,

We have received our mortgage offer from Halifax and the address of the property we are buying is wrong.

Its a new build and we have had loads of problems with Halifax getting the address right. Its literally the 4th document that has the wrong address and its a different address each time!

The solicitors and all the legal documents show the right address and the Halifax valuation also shows the right address so ive no idea why Halifax cant get the address right.

Is this is a big issue? Or will it just be a typo? The house number is wrong on the offer but the rest of the address is correct.

Also the offer document doesnt have anything to sign to say we agree to the offer, is this normal? The offer just says we have 10 days to reflect on the offer.

Cheers

Up to the solicitors whether the address needs fixed or not, we can't tell how "wrong" it is from what you've told us.

Yes, normal for there not to be a signed acceptance of the offer - you're deemed to have accepted it when your solicitor draws down the funds and completes the sale.
