Can I cook biscuits in a Remoska?

I am thinking of getting one of these and most of the things I cook can be done in it but I'm not sure about fairy cakes and biscuits.





Anyone tried this please?

Yes, and although they & Lakeland will tell you it's doable, I wasn't happy with the results.
The heating element is in the lid, and the pan is fairly thin, for better conduction. That means you don't get the even, circulating heat that is so good for a lot of baking.
Drop scones do nicely.

I have a remoska and I have never used it for baking but it cooks almost anything else I use my big oven and have a mega bake up and use all the shelves and even using it as its cooling down to do meringues in

Thanks JackieO, I hadn't thought of that, a good old style baking day- think I'll try that.
