A little help transferring store cards onto 0% card

I was wondering if anyone could help me out here.
I have a couple of old store cards that I wanted to put over onto a 0% card.
They say that you can only put ones over that are Visa cards, but neither one of them are.
OK I thought, I will pay them with a credit card that's going to go over too, so it'll all be over on the 0% card. But neither one of them will accept a credit card as payment, nor paypal either.
They both have a 16 digit number though. One of them offered to make it a general mastercard but I didn't take them up on it as I never use it any more, kinda kicking myself now!
I'm a little stumped. Is there any way around this at all?
Thanks for any help.

Hi, if you can get a 0% on money transfers credit card you can transfer the cash to your bank account and use this to pay off the store cards.

agreed with the above
instead of getting BT card, opt for a money transfer card - sometimes the fee is slightly higher than a BT fee, and sometimes terms are a little shorter, but only way to do what you want to do0 -
I don't think I'm eligible for these, I've just opened two new accounts, so I think that's why, I had a 95% acceptance on the credit club, but when it said check for eligibility, it said I wouldn't be offered one.
I think this is my stumbling block and I won't be able to do anything else with these store cards.0 -
Hi, Check if there are any offers on any existing credit cards that you hold. If you have a Barclaycard I am regularly offered money transfers as well as balance transfers as an existing customer.0
