Up until I rescanned my TV a few days back (BBC picture breaking up) I received the whole range of TV programs from the Rep including TV3 and Virgin 1,2, and 3. Now I receive none of them. There is nothing in the 800 range

I rescanned twice today, it’s a lovely still day and still no signal. Any suggestions? I live in the Armagh City area.

Perhaps a manual retune for those channels. Has anyone an idea of either the: Channel, Frequency, or the Bandwith that would give me something to work on

Monaghan would seem the most obvious answer but there is a large obstacle which may block the signal. Perhaps Dundalk

As always any help appreciated

Kevin

Try another TV or try to scan your TV in another house.

Not really practable. The houses I could try it in live in a different area of the city and I only have the one tv
What puzzles me is, I had the Southern channels up until I rescanned. Now the complete 800 group is gone !

Just for completeness - do you have an aerial for NI (Freeview) and one for a southern transmitter, Saorview? What condition are the aerials in? Still pointing the right way?!

UK predictions for a random Armagh postcode: http://www.digitaluk.co.uk/coveragechecker/main/trade/+BT61+7DF/post/0/f4621s5l6ttgm3lsb9dkv2iad4

Click on change address to get more accurate ones.

The NI minimux from Black Mountain would carry some RTE channels.

Go over aerial plugs, sockets and cables - many reception issues are caused by dodgy connections. Remake any suspect ones or try others if you have them.
HDMI cables can cross-interfere with aerial signals so keep well apart and again try others.

    Problem solved and an update

After two or three consecutive free no RoI stations were available. I then carried out a manual scan of channel 55 and 56. I received most of what’s been broadcast from the South except RTÉ 1 and Virgin 1. I thought it rather strange that Virgin 2 and 3 weren’t group together as they were before they disappeared

After the manual scan I carried out an auto scan and to my delight ALL the Southern channels had returned. Even Virgin 1, 2 and 3 returned to their original grouped positions.

All is well that ends well and thanks everyone for your suggestions

A possibility! After all Barclays is moving €190bn of assets to Dublin because it "cannot wait any longer" to implement its Brexit contingency plan.

Although it has nothing to do with tv stations my view is it will be a hard Brexit but I am beginning to think Theresa May is playing chicken with MP’s. Come closer to the day she’ll stand up in parliament and say the EU wouldn’t budge so it is either my deal or the hard deal and we don’t know how many jobs will go abroad. Theresa May’s version of Chicken 😱
