Was this competition misleading?

I was so excited to win this prize but I have just received it in the post and am a bit disappointed.

I was expecting to win the items in the photo, but only received the Vitamin D testing kit and the Vitamin D spray. The text is unclear to me, but the competition holder is insisting that it is clear what the prize is.


Would appreciate if you guys could have a look and tell me what you think.

as clear as mud lol...to my when you read the bumph...it seems she comments about everything in the picture and the way it is worded imho is that these are included in the prize....

Actually I do think it is clear in the text that the prize is Vitamin D testing kit and the Vitamin D spray.

Afraid I would have to say that she is only specifying the testing kit as a prize:

"WIN a @betteryou_ltd Vitamin D ☀️ testing kit!"

She mentions the other items:

"A few of my Sunday essentials: my daily planner (time to plan the week ahead and I love this one from @thepapergang) , some motivational reading, tea ☕️ and supplements!"

but does not say they are part of the prize. Later she says:

"@betteryou_ltd have kindly gifted me one of their Vitamin D testing kits to giveaway to my followers!"

It is certainly misleading with a picture full of items and a rambling blurb, but the prize is specifically the testing kit, imho.

I can see how on first glance you might have thought it was everything in the photo, but on reading the text in full I agree with her that the prize being only the Vit D testing kit is clear.

Aww don't be disappointed, I do get why you would think it included those other items though, she does mention it clearly, but its still a bit misleading. Hope your kit does you some good though x
