Dynamic IP's and computer names

Hi guys,

Im from the Matched Betting area and have a few questions.

Basically ive been betting at online bookies on my computer and am getting my girlfriend into it which will involve opening an account at the same bookie as me but for herself.

Bookies state that they only accept one account per household and can check this by checking people's IP address (its all kosher, my girlfriend lives at a different address but will be using my computer). if they know of more than 1 account from one household they can restrict accounts (by seeing mine and my girlfriend's accounts from the same computer they would assume that we live together and wont be convinced otherwise!!).

I have BT openworld broadband with a dynamic IP which changes when i turn the router off and back on again. This i believe would stop them the bookies thinking that i have opened multiple accounts from the same address because the accounts would have different IP's when they log in (correct me if im wrong)

Someone said that i would need to change the name of my computer to something generic as this can be checked too. Any ideas how to change this on a mac?

Also is there anything else that i should be aware of (how else they can identify people from the same computer apart from IP address and computer name)?

to be honest i don't think they'd be able to get away with checking the IP address as that'll mean people can't use a public computer, library, net cafe etc and people who all work for the same company would all have the same IP address.

Thats what i first thought but they can and they do. There is people on the matched betting forum who have had their accounts restricted because of this

prob have to clear out all your cookies too, every time you changed accounts.
maybe better to have 2 separate computers? or at least 2 hdd,s.

2 web browsers would be easier than clearing cookies. IE for one and Mozilla for the other.
