So far every time I have listened its been a little after 5.30pm when they have aired the phone call. Impossible to know if this is prerecorded tho, but hopefully this sets your mind at rest a little

I think they phone just after 5 and record the call but air the call around 5.30. I won on the Clyde radio comp just before Christmas (was £200 win) and that comp closed at 5. They phoned me a few minutes after 5 and played the call around 5.30.

By the way I will be unable to post the answers this next week as away on holiday if someone could kindly post please.

Oh no!!!! What a shame, so sorry for you, that's so unfair. They say in the rules that it has to be answered within five rings so I don't think you'll get any help from them.
