Proof of deposit- Stamp Duty

Can anyone help, we have the deposit but are a few thousand short for the stamp duty, does the proof of deposit need to include stamp duty. Without doubt we’ll have come exchange time.

I don’t want to reduce my LTV as I know the deal I want.

Mine didn't include stamp. I didn't have the money for stamp duty until it all went through a couple of months later (although I'd anticipated I'd have it by that point).

Ive never known a lender to want to see deposit plus stamp duty.
Although I suppose there are probably some lenders who will see how viable it is you will have it, but it is not something I have come across in 7 years.
