Opening a Trust Fund account

My solicitor currently holds funds in a client account from my parents home sale.
A trust fund was drawn up many years ago.
These funds are just sitting in the solicitors bank and does not attract any interest. He has now recommended that I open a Fund account elswhere where it can work.
Im now having problems finding a financial institute/bank that will open this type of account.

Why aren't they in an interest-bearing client account? Did your solicitor explain the firm's policy on interest on money held on behalf of a client?0
