Hello there, I have had a couple of diary's which I tend to let slip but will try and keep this one up will give me something to do in the evenings while OH flicks through the 100 and something channels because he hates adverts and I hate flicking. The reason for my title is in 2021 my dmp or dma not sure what its called now will be finished in April to be precise. I will also be able to retire in the August of that year but might not as I really enjoy working and its only part time. I'm doing the debt management myself so no extra charges and keep a print from whats the cost, the best thing ever.
Have been reading other diary's and find them so inspiring so hopefully I can keep posting and carry on with my dmp.
Off to watch call the midwife and then vera love them both.

Thank you Guybrush and daisy jean. Have had a busy day in London today sorting out a few bits, OH paid for everything so didn't have to even open my purse.
Am trying not to drink wine and use my card which is the account the direct debits come out of, the only way is to not go to the shops luckily OH loves to shop so he gets the food and usually cooks it - win win I think.0 -
So a bit about me and mine, its me my OH and DGson who's 14. We both work OH pays the mortgage and I do the DD OH buys the food as well. I'm sorting out the debts as for years and years I've always had a problem with money and getting into debt which OH has always bailed me out and this is why I want to do it myself, I already find that i'm not wanting to spend.
So:
bank of Scotland (solicitors fees) £885
Lloyds £2430.68
restons £1878
Tesco £1899
bank of Scotland (asda) ££2044
I have done whats the cost and will finish in April 2021 I can retire in August 2021 and obviously get my pension and bus pass (can't wait for that one)
I tend to follow the Dave Ramsey way but also mix it with Martin and love watching his programmes and seeing him on this morning.
This afternoon I have my youngest GS only for 3 hours as my DD goes to work. They tend to come round after and we drink tea and eat biscuits, which is why my waistline is expanding by the moment. I used to do slimming world.
Am busy in the evenings reading peoples dairies which I love and find so inspiring.
PS all of my snowball is 0% interest so I have printed off the snowball and its nice to watch it come down and draw a satisfactory line through it each month.
Have a nice day and prepare for the snow ****0 -
GS's birthday today 11 already, so we are out tonight for a chinese, looking forward to it as I never go out to eat and we don't really have take aways will be a treat. Not sure how much it will be but we all pitch in everyones in the same boat.
Back to work tomorrow my long weekend but at least it means NS we get free tea, coffee, hot chocolate etc and bread for toasting and fruit but i usually take something from home otherwise I'd eat bread ALL DAY.
Its getting colder in Essex and meant to be worse tomorrow, us southerners don't like the cold so I'm in a moany mood, better snap out of it for tonight.0 -

Hi Anita, popping in to say hello and wish you luck on the final part of your journey. Two years isn't long to go - I bet you can see a flicker of light at the end of that tunnel already
Hope you enjoyed the birthday meal and are keeping warm and cosy. I think we're the only area of the UK that's hardly had any snow but we're definitely joining in with the chill factor
Have a lovely weekend. x0 -
