Quick and simple question for some but as a FTB I am not sure,
Received a mortgage offer and signed to accept it, car insurance is due in a couple of weeks and I am going to use comparison sites to find a cheap quote, as this may leave a soft search on my credit file could this affect the mortgage application?

Soft search is only seen by you and the company carrying out that search.
