No fine. File it then check back in 2-3 days, HMRC may include Marriage Allowance themselves if your spouse has already applied for that year.
Key thing is file it now and pay what you think is correct.0 -

Hi there, I am currently in the exact same situation as your post describes, even to the point of saving 20% of my self employed earnings to pay the bill. Marriage allowance doesn't appear to have been taken into account in the calculation.
How did your situation pan out? Was it resolved easily?0
