Hi all,
Does anyone know -I'm applying for a residential mortgage and i wondered - how do banks like you to prove rental income these days? This is rental income from an unmortgaged property.
Do i just have to provide bank statement showing the payments?
Cheers,
DC x

Would you be using the rental income to help support affordability for the application? If so, then this would typically treated as self-employed income, in which case you would usually need to provide latest 2 years' HMRC tax calculations and tax year overviews.I am a Mortgage Adviser
