Yes, maturing cheese in caves at Wookey Hole in Somerset, see here for example - https://www.caveagedcheddar.co.uk

    Thanks for posting.

I have just entered this comp about 10 minutes ago, and just now received this email:
"This is the mail system at host molly.mediaclash.co.uk.

I'm sorry to have to inform you that your message could not be delivered to one or more recipients. It's attached below.

For further assistance, please send mail to postmaster."

It had an attachment with all my details and competition entry answer etc.... has anyone else had this problem??

Same here, but I also got another mail from mediaclash just after saying
    'form has been received'

After reading about the rejection email, I double-checked my messages. I have one in my in-box confirming that my entry had been received. But then I found another message in my spam box, from 2 different email addresses at the same company, which said that it couldn't be delivered.

All I can think is that the entry forms are being copied to maybe 3 different people at the company; one of which accepts the entry, but the other two are rejecting it (maybe full mailboxes??). Unless anyone has any other ideas...

It's not cheddar, which doesn't need to be aged in a cave to be called cheddar. Roquefort can only be called Roquefort if it is aged in the caves near Roquefort.

It says on their website .... "we’re talking proper linen wrapped cave aged cheddar, with its characteristic earthy maturity; a taste of the cave, where the odd blue vein is a sign of great provenance."

So I will go with Cheddar

Also, the question asks "Which local cheese...", and Crumbs magazine is based in Bath, Bristol, and Devon, so I'll stick with Cheddar (Somerset).
