Hello,
New to the forum
can anyone enlighten me, how popular are 5% deposit mortgages now and what kind of credit history is required? Does it need to be squeaky clean perfect? We are in the process of saving and a 5% deposit would drastically reduce how long it would take us to get on the ladder.
We will both have no defaults/CCjJ, a couple of CCs each paid in full and I will have a couple of late payment markers which are very old.
Obviously Im aware it depends on personal circumstances, but just looking for a general idea if they are a complete no go.
