Bankruptcy & Self Employed

Morning all newbie here,

To cut a long story short I’m in the process of saving to go bankrupt I have been advised it’s the best step forward.

However my quiestuon is because I’m self employed should I wait until I have completed my tax return for 18/19 (I’m sure il be owed some money here) this not only having this money will enable me to pay for bankruptcy . Or should I do it before ie Feb/March time before SA is due?

I have read that once you become BR that any SA in this period is automatically sent to the OR (which I’m happy with) I’m just wondering if I should file now or after April?

Any help would be most appreciated :o
