Dear All,
Have had First Direct Account for about 8 months now. I mainly use it as a secondary account with credits/debits of around £1200 going in and out every month.
Just wondering whether to apply for a FD loan for about £3000. Do they ask for proof of income in form of payslips or bank statements?
Thanks

Hi there
Not sure if they would. I think it's something to consider though. Did you compare their rates to other lending agencies too?
I've recently applied for a loan and was approved without one question being asked. Then again I've been with them for a very long time and had loans in the past (please God this is the last one, getting too old for this!) What rate do you think you will get? Mine is 6.6% and I haven't take out any insurance.
Send them a secure message asking what the process would be for you 'if' you applied and see what they say.

Thanks very much will do. I did asked for a credit limit increase but was approved immediatley. I had to go through their credit bureau who asked me a few questions. Will give it a try.
