Adding to a mortgage

Ok here goes
Currently my husband has our flat on a mortgage in his name.
We want to move to a house.
This means he wants me on the mortgage.
Debt wise I’m in a mess. I have 4 outstanding credit cards, 4 outstanding and overdue payday loans.
1 loan I’m paying reduced payments on as agreed with the lender.
Our ltv will be about 50% which I think is our only saving grace.
I have to tell my husband about the pdl debt tonight...I’m ashamed and got myself into a hole I can’t get out if I’m scared he will leave me.
With his good payment history and deposit do we have a hope in hell if I come up with a recovery plan
This is assuming he doesn’t throw me out tonight..:(

No chance with those payday loans, I'd have said.
Are you currently linked financially - e.g. do you have a joint bank account?0 -
We do just a basic one for house bills0

I would guess that this has linked your credit files, so even applying for a mortgage without you on it might be difficult.Debtmess81 wrote: »We do just a basic one for house bills0
