I have deleted my comments voluntarily.

The warnings about female fertility, costs of IVF, increased risks are all factual and were well intended and based on actual cases of people spending large 5 figure sums on IVF and facing heartbreak.

I haven’t changed my mind about the risks that financial speculation can place on the mating and nesting process that the majority want (not everyone).

However I want to continue to use the site for probate/will advice as there are some sub-forums with really helpful people so I’ve self-censored and will be moving on to more useful activities.

    Good luck to all

Ah the good old days. When men were men and women just did the washing up.

You can mate and nest in a rented property that has both names on the tenancy. Lots of people do this & the numbers will only increase.

I agree that women delaying having children is a big problem, but that isn't related to buying vs renting. Women decide when to have children, if they are making the wrong decisions then educate them. Don't enable those bad decisions by telling men they have to be responsible for that too.

"Wills and probate", yes after what you have posted on here recently I can see how that would be another major concern of yours. Try not worry about it too much and smell the roses once in a while, more so with those who will one day remember you in that will, money is important, but it is not everything

I think with most cases in life, things never go to plan. People meet and have kids in all manner of situations, people just find a way to make things work.

There is a perfect scenario to have kids, but the reality is that most people do not have life figured well enough to fully prepare for it.

I got my first mortgage and home in my early 20's, second home was at 27 years old. You have to get in there as early as possible. And just to contradict so many people on here, yes it was very hard in those early years, but it gets easier. My advice, get on the ladder at any cost as young as you can, and yes it will be hard and you will have to make sacrifices. The alternative is bedsit in your 50's and women staying well clear of you, just have to read some of the posts on here to realise that now, but we all knew anyway:)
  • Well theres some good news then, all these chinese, arab and russian milluonaires who invest in property here can go sod off and leave uk property market alone.

The property market boom has been covering up a recession in the general uk economy, once the property market gets destroyed well feel the reality a bit more.

    Kinda xenophobic don't you think?

The only effect brexit will have on them is make it cheaper to buy, leave voters have given discounts to foreign millionaires so they can buy even more property.

If they fear the UK market will close off to outsiders, it will cause them to pull out of the UK market.

nationalistic sentiments tend to ward off foreign investors.

Nothing xenophobic or racist about that comment. All these newbuilds are all bought out offplan, and half are vacant long after the flats are sold off. They're bought up by rich multi-millionaires to hide money off of banks.

China for example, the state has taken over assets of individuals who are political enemies of the communist states. Also the chinese don't trust their state banks as it's owned by their communist government. Private banks are volatile. So they invest here in the UK as it's safe.

Why? Rich people are always welcome no matter where they are from.

    Probably should stop digging.
