I have no issue with paying the debt and that is what I am willing to negotiate over but have, so far, had no reply to the voicemails I have left him on the mobile number he left at the bottom of the note and the guys at the court haven't been much more help, telling me that a payment plan needs to be discussed with the bailiff (i've had some missed calls from a private number but no messages left).
I simply wish to make sure that the threat made by the bailiff is beyond his capabilities so that I can sleep easier at night and concentrate better during the day at the office etc (especially since they've set me a deadline to respond by but are not answering my response).0 -
That’s typical bailiff behaviour, they do it deliberately to wind you up even more, your best doing everything in writing when dealing with matters such as this, go straight to the bailiffs office with your payment offer, then don’t wait for approval, just pay it, leave him out of the loop, and don’t enter in discussions with them at all, that is the best way.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
