    Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

    Would seem the most likely reason. In conjunction with the OP's credit profile which will provide the lender with an insight into personal money management.

    Thanks guys

    Confused as the guidelines allow debt consolidation up to 75% and we're going to a max of 66%

    Debt was accrued for IVF as well and detailed on the application form etc

    I guess we just have to wait and see
