Advirtises that he accepts paypal, but says in description that he doesn't. Also read past feedback, a lot of negs/neutrals for this reason, but also a lot of positives from not completing transactions, all of which have paypal advirtised, does that strike anyone as a bit odd? Was going to buy off him when I saw paypal, then saw his feedback, and not touching him with a bagepole. Can he still advirtise paypal when he's clearly not accepting it?

possibly does this so he shows up on searches of people accepting paypal and so increase possible chances of a sale?0

Buyers have no protection at all unless they pay by paypal. This seller should not be advertising paypal if he is refusing to accept it. Even many of his positive feedback comments state problems with paypal payments.0

Just a thought don't you have to offer paypal now as a payment method on certain categories of auction? I'm sure computer games is one of them so he's probably advertising paypal so he can sell these items. All his negs are for not taking it and many of his positive feedback mention he won't take it too.
I would go no where near him, he's only been registered for a few months and he has a fairly high amount of neg feedback all for the same thing.0 -
I would not touch this seller with a baregpole for several reasons. Firstly he has trouble with his paypal account...ok, maybe the sort of trouble in that people have been scammed and his paypal account has been frozen while he tries to fight the claims?
Secondly he is obviously in breach of several ebay rules, if he is happy to do that then what else is he happy to do? The fact that he advertises something and does not take it makes him untrustworthy and I would not even chance a 99p item with him.
Lastly as it is such an obvious breach his auctions are likely to be pulled quite quickly. Even though he is currently showing powerseller status this won;t save him and it won't help any buyer who pays using a non safe method of payment only to see the auction disappear and possibly even the seller.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I'm glad i'm not the only one who thinks he's dodgy, I'm going to try reporting him now over the paypal thing, which i'm pretty sure you HAVE to have now for game as said about, not 100% sure though. Its the fact he's got so many negatives and positives from this paypal problem that strikes me as dodgy, why positive him for him not accepting what he advirtises?~*Cerenia*~

Why report him?
Seems to have good feedback, other than some negs from people who have not paid.
Are any of the negs from people who aren't non paying bidders?0 -

its his choice to offer or not offer paypal however people may get into non paying bidder or have to pay via another method they dont want to.
by having paypal in his accepted payments he is slightly decieving bidders.
lets be honest ,many ebayers barely read descriptions0 -
i havent looked at the seller but i dont have a paypal account and dont wish one any more due to bad experiances with paypal. but due to ebays profitering in some catagories i can no longer sell some items because i cannot add paypal to my payment offerings. They say this is to reduce fraud but if they scrapped paypal altogether then that would eliminate most of the fraud where the buyer is fraudlant. Yes this may not prevent seller fraud but i feel that neither can paypal."Save the cheerleader - Save the world"0

Most of the positives are from people who have mutualed the transaction because he doesn't take paypal, yet advirtises he does. Most of the negs and neutrals are also from him not accepting paypal. Looking at the true feedback, there's not that much.~*Cerenia*~
