It does not. The Gross Truth About The Germs On Your Bar Of Soap.and if you're worried about germs on the surface of the bar, I believe soap kills them off, particularly if you use a soap with some kind of anti bac ingredient in.
I am a very frequent handwasher and much prefer liquid soap.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Someone recently sent me a recipe to make hand soap, 4/5 normal sized bottles, from one bar of soap, 2 tablespoons of coconut oil and water, but I havent tried it yet, waiting until my current bottles run out0

So my question is where do you buy large enough quantity to decant into smaller said dispenser? Any body got an inexpensive version?0

I use shower gel in my kitchen one. The bathroom has a bar of soap :-)0

Grate your bar of soap
Bring 8 cups of water to the boil & turn off the heat
Slowly whisk in grated soap until its all melted
Add 2 TBSP coconut oil
Whisk everything together, it will look like soapy water
Let pot sit for 15 minutes
Give another good whisk
Let cool & set for 12 hrs
Whisk (she suggests using an electric whisk) until resembles liquid soap
Like I said, I havent tried it yet, so.......
I do plan on trying it once i have bottles empty to refill0
