Long time sine I had one as I haven't eaten meat for a few years.
However, if pastry really is undercooked rather than just less flaky, I would suggest cooking for longer at a lower temperature / in a less hot part of the oven maybe?
From what I remember, the pastry on top was always flaky though.0 -
