Confused by bankruptcy form

Hi, I've started filling in the main bankruptcy form online. I'm confused.

  1. My partner is not co-operating and doesn't want there income included in the statement. What do I do on this section of the form? I don't think I can leave it blank when I've said that I live with someone. Also, does this mean that I put rent, council tax etc. as the bill amount of the half that I pay? Yeah, very very confused about this.
  2. I have a lot of medical expenses, and I can explain what I purchase and why I need it. When do I have the opportunity to do this? There isn't anything on the form it's just asking for a total.
  3. What evidence do I need to provide? Do I need to send copies of household bills? Payslips? We're just moving in together and all the bills will be in my partners name, and it's coming to take a while to get bills regularly e.g. my partner has been paying council tax where he lives now, after this months it'll be paid for the year, but there'll be an adjustment. So we won't have a proper bill until April I think.
Any thoughts on this would be much appreciated as I'm getting myself in a tizzy.

Fill in full costs for rent, bills etc. Leave partners income blank.

Your OR will call you a few days later & this is where you answer their questions. Don't feel you have to rattle off lots of explanations, they are looking for specific info so just answer their Qs & don't fill in any silences as they're just writing your answers.

I wasn't asked for any paperwork, no bills, only proof that DH owned the car, so emailed in a receipt that was that. Probably be the same with your meds, just have a copy of a months bill to email if asked.

Have your NI no. to hand & a timeline of events is handy to refer to.

Hi, thanks for the response. This is where I get confused. If I put the full rent etc. my expenditure looks to be much higher (around £460 per month) than my income. It also works if I pay half.

Is that OK? Is it something I can explain when I talk to the OR?

Also, is the conversation with the OR by appointment? I wasn't expecting that and will need to organise time with work.

    Thanks

Whichever you prefer really, the OR will go through your income/expenses to see if there's any leftovers for them so you get to clarify it all anyway. So long as your costs are reasonable it shouldn't be too intense a conversation.

Don't forget to include something for haircuts, holiday, uniform, savings etc it's allowed & it's another say £40 a month you get to keep.

The OR will call you a few days after application with an appointment time, you can rearrange to suit you so have your diary with you. It's at least 30 mins, mine was 30 mins as not much to go through.
