Redundancy Owed from a LTD compant with strike off proposal

HI
So I got made redundant from the ltd company I worked for in September last year. They told me they wasn't going into liquidation, as the debt they owed wasn't high enough so they were just going to let it die and get struck off . They also advised me they didn't have the money to pay my owed redundancy money, but I could claim it from the government once everything was sorted.
My issue is I'm trying to claim my money from the government but they require a case number but because the firm isn't in liquidation they don't have one and I'm worried if the firm does get stricken off I'm not gonna be able to claim anything.
Can anybody give me some advice on this? I've tried google but cant seem to find anything relevant to my situation

If directors continue to trade knowing their company is insolvent (which from your post appears to be the case), they become personally liable for its debts from the point at which they knew, or should have known, it was insolvent.
Have a word with ACAS (http://www.acas.org.uk/index.aspx?articleid=1410), who may, I suspect, advise you to make a claim against your former employer now.Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!0 -
My mistake for not making it clear, the director resigned from that company the same time i was made redundant and now works for another company. The company is now registered at the accountants address0

Yes...clearly not a man with a strong grasp of his responsibilities as a company director. Give ACAS a call, as already suggested.Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!0
