Hello
We have been given a DIP by precise we have completed a DMP less than 2 years which they asked for a letter from Stepchange to confirm its been paid in full which I have sent in. Do the underwriters check this directly with stepchange or is the letter enough? Do they check your employment too or again is the P60 and wage slip enough?
I have not hidden anything and broker seems to think everything is fine this is just a curious question really? Is it about honesty and trust backed up by what is seen on your credit report?
Thanks

If the information you have provided it correct then what does it matter if they are likely undertake further checks - the only reason to worry would be if you provided false/inaccurate information.
An underwriter will do sufficient checks to satisfy their requirements- if information appears contradictory then they are likely to undertake enhanced checks.0 -

Hi,
Obtained a DIP from precise in November but was unable to submit full application as the potential mortgage offer had to cover our new build window.
Help to buy accepted.
Defaults X4 13k NatWest (x2)Oct 2016
capital one (x2) £1600
Partner perfect credit
£60k income for a 171k mortgage.
Going in for full application this week , so a bit nervous ! broker doesn't seem to know adverse market , although he has been extremely helpful and responsive. I have done a lot of research , and we fit into criteria , just looking for success stories with precise.0
