Just a quick query, some time in the new year i will be looking for a mortgage, i am wondering if i could expect to get a 100% mortgage,
heres the but,
My credit history is less than perfect,
i have 4 satisfied defaults and 1 satisfied ccj
any advice welcome

defaults were couple of hundred each satisfied 2-3 years ago, ccj £1200 settled last month !

If you can pay £2500 this month to repay your Black Horse debt, can you continue to save £2500 a month for another 6 months? In that case you will have £15000 in th bank and won't need a 100% mortgage.
This will lessen the chance of going into negative equity if property prices fall and should enable you to get better mortgage terms. I'd do this if you possibly can.0 -
No chance mate, even ppl with spotless credit history are finding it hard to get 100% mortgages these days.

my last CCJ ( i had 2) came off my credit report back in June 2006 and now im applying for a mortgage advisor says some banks look for adverse credit history back 3 years!! Is this right?
I thought i would be finally clear of this ball and chain!!
