Fed Ex ??

Someone from number 0207 1858 6208 phoned me yesterday afternoon when I was in work.
Googling the number suggests it is FedEx - anybody else have a call from them - it could be a win (as I have nothing on order) or it could be some kind of scam.
I haven't called back as I don't have any reference etc.

I did a quick Google and it doesn't mention Fed Ex for me ... it does say "Track FedEx package ‪0207 1858 6208‬" ... but I think that's just because Google thinks the phone number is a Fed Ex tracking number (I think maybe because the number has one too many digits to be a phone number?), ie if it was a London number it would be 020 7185 8620 but that leaves the 8. Did you copy down the number correctly?

I'm not entirely sure how London numbers work but I think it should be :
020 XXXX XXXX (?)

Thanks for the reply - I have double checked with 1471 and the number is as typed in.
Never thought there was too many digits!

Won't be phoning them back then - let's see if I get another call.

I was going to ask on a new thread, but I've seen this one, so I'll ask here.
I had one of those daft emithers this morning claiming to be from FedEx, but it was in the junk mail, and just ignored it. (one of those from a unrelated email address, and you can tell it's fake)
But, just now I've had a text, from no. +447537416495. It says a delivery is due tomorrow.
I'm not aware of anything coming, but daren't click on the link just in case.
Anybody else had the same text?

Received an email this morning purporting to be from Fedex, saying they couldn't deliver a parcel because "my address details were incorrect". Invited me to click on a link to update them....NO!
I've forwarded the email to Action Fraud for them to deal with.
This is the third one of a type I've received recently, the other two allegedly from DHL. Some scammer obviously has my email address and is going through his little black book of email scams (HMRC, eBay, DHL, FEDEX, Amazon, etc), hoping he can hook me with one of them.
Please forward any infantile offerings such as these to Action Fraud, then delete and enjoy the rest of your life.

PS Received an email today 23/5/19, from "eBay", asking me to confirm my address as they couldn't deliver a parcel. Firstly, eBay don't send out parcels, only sellers do, and secondly, as predicted above, I'm going to get a few of these scams over the next few days, until they realise I'm not going to bite and move onto the next victim.
