What does "not allowed" mean? Who is stopping her?

Or do you mean your lender will not give you a new mortgage?

When you divorced what did you agree about the house?
Is the mortgage lender refusing to take her off the mortgage because the affordability checks make them concerned about you taking it on on your own?

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.
