Agricultural feed mill - does anyone have one close by?

A planning application has been put in for an agricultural feed mill within about a quarter of a mile from my house. I went to a presentation yesterday about this and it would be a total monstrosity in an already industrial area which has the worst ratings for air quality in the UK.
Is there anyone out there with local experience of such a mill please? I need to know more about the mill, not about the planning process.
