Current Mortgage and Equity Loan?

Hi Everyone,
We currently have a mortgage, 3 years in to a 5 year deal.
We're wanting to move house to a new build within the next 6-12 months when they are built.
We'd like a large, detached, so ideally would use the government equity loan to help with this.
Is it possible to get the loan for a new build, even though we currently own a house (which we'd sell for the new one), and have a mortgage?

you can as will be selling the otherDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

I wasn't sure if due to already owning a house (but selling), and also I would have a mortgage which I'd port over I could.
