Funny how it's relevant right now. I tend to stick with Lidl, I do find most supermarket meat not very nice. The nearest butchers to me shut down a few years ago, their meat was lovely.

Ive used Great British Meat Co, great food and a delivery was good, I suspect similar to what Farmison uses, food was delivered in a chilled box. They sometimes have special offers on eg a selection of meat for a special price, they have had a special deal on a bilk order of meat eg burgers as the customer changed the order.

For the last 18months I have been ordering meat from my local organic farm. I found them after doing a google search. They deliver once a month and although more expensive, the meat is award winning, the animals have had the very best of care and the meat comes from about 5 miles away. We have cut back on our meat consumption and feel this is a win win situation. I'd highly recommend looking for a similar local business in your area.
