Kitchen worktop renovation

Part of our worktop has tiny little holes in the laminate which show up as our worktop is dark grey. I've tried colouring them in but it's really difficult to match the colour.
Has anyone tried a paint on finish which is supposed to last or had success with getting over a problem like this
