dirty shirty letters AFTER br....

I know someone who has gone BR in the last 6 months, 2 of his creditors are still sending nasty letters despite being told of his BR and given all the details, the letters have been passed to his OR.

the two are HSBC (owed about £10K) and a Fuel company (he was a self employed sole trader haulier (not a ltd comp)) for £3K

is he at any risk of further action now or after his BR ends in july?

    No. :D

He can tell them to stick it where the sun doesn't ..............

EDIT: Seriously, if BR can wipe out debts to the tax man, what chance do these idiots have?

If he gets continued contact he should take advice regarding harassment.

  • We sent copies of OH b/c order to everyone but are still getting default notices and further action will be taken letters. I did notice that the addresses these come from aren't always the same as the one you find on statements etc so probably it will take time for it to filter through, same as phone calls telling them. Either that or they just don't care or don't believe us.
We haven't had one phone call except family and friends for two days now - bliss.
Will probably be my creditors starting phoning next, should have received my letters offering a pro rata settlement, wonder how long till i hear?
