Mortgage advisors/brokers- please help!!

Hi
I'm hoping someone here can please help/advise on my situation.
I'm a first time buyer, have had an offer accepted and all the legal work (survey, searches, inquiries, etc) is complete, but I'm yet to receive my mortgage offer after nearly 7 weeks.
I decided to go with a broker because of my financial situation but was basically sold into using the estate agents in house broker and now I'm really panicking I could lose the house.
I have a 10% deposit, excellent credit history and no outstanding credit commitments.
But I have been a stay at home mum since February 2017 so have no earnings in the lastest tax year. I have now started working for my dads business, I'll be due my first wage and payslip at the end of this month.
My broker assured me none of this would be an issue and that I could easily get a mortgage using my offer letter and contract. However, he is clearly struggling with the lender he applied with (accord mortgages) and wants to re-apply with HSBC who I know are notoriously difficult to get an approval with. He said this is my last option..
Is my situation completely impossible? I don't know what to do and am literally losing sleep over this. Would another broker be able to help, is the one I've got just rubbish??
Please help..

It is very rare I would slate another broker but they sound absolutely ****!
I very much doubt Accord and HSBC would be anyones only options. There are other lenders who will accept you with 1 payslip or even just a contract of employment - I have no idea why they are saying otherwise.
When did you start working for your dad? Did you apply before before starting there?

Thank you for your replies.
I started my job on 7th January but had my contract and offer letter sorted back in November.
Explained this to my broker who advised me to go ahead and find a property, I did and the offer was accepted.
Broker then said he had a 'solid AIP' and it was pretty much a guarantee that I would get the full offer so I instructed the surveyor and everything moved really quickly.
Accord have requested new info and documents every week since which I have provided but still no offer in sight.
I bank with HSBC and from my research it seems they are a really difficult lender so I'm worried they will decline.0 -
Hi Dan
I really really think you need to get another opinion on this.
Hsbc are very very picky and if you are on a tight timescale then are not the lender for you
What you are looking to do is very very possible but I don't think your broker is helping you here.I am a Mortgage Adviser
