Lovely photos. The tall purple flowers are they a flag iris? Well done on getting to 30K. Definitely get glasses sorted. Hope your health improves soon.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Thanks, SH. I think so with the irises. I'm not sure. My neighbor gave them all to me and said they would grow, and boy did they ever. Health is starting to improve. 5 days in a row now where my body is trying to feel better. I'm hoping it continues.
OP made today of $25.00 from my cashback credit card. Balance is now $30,955.00. My GI doctor wants me to have my exam since it's been 5 years, so I will need to pay for most of that out-of-pocket as my deductible is $2300.00. I'm not sweating it though as I have the money set aside. Just need to get it over with. DH has been home most of the week enjoying moderating his schedule more so he can have time for house and van projects, and he is happier and more relaxed. I felt good enough the other day to make some Paleo lemon bars, which came out scrumptious. I gave a couple to some friends and they loved them. This weekend I will probably bake some carrot cake cupcakes. We have a Zoom wedding to go to and then will pretty much take it easy. I love weekends like this. Enjoy the weekend all.Mortgage start date Dec 2015 - $64,655.00

Payday today. Another mortgage payment which is for July, so now we are paid until August. I am happy now to have my 3-month buffer. I am trying to decide whether to use the next two checks for this month to pay August and September or if I should just start paying down principle and keep my 3-month buffer. Amortization schedule shows that now all of year 2036 has been paid. Yay! 9 more years of mortgage payments left on the schedule. I can do this. My goal would be to pay off all the way to year 2040 on the schedule this year and finish the rest next year. But of course, that's looking far off into the distance, so I will take it one day at a time.
In the meantime, emergency fund, house fund, and general savings have been added to. Transcription cashed in was $140.00 this month. I didn't work a lot since I was sick, but every penny counts. It will go into business savings. Retirement accounts added to for March, and I need to fund April. I treated myself to a baby Orangeola Japanese Maple whom I have named Octavius, and I hope he will be as happy and magnificent as the images I've seen of them fully grown. I'm starting to work on my backyard to see if I can create an intimate courtyard behind my master bedroom. I have a vision of trellis planters, bamboo screening, golden conifers, and my centerpiece Orangeola. We'll see if I can make my vision come to life.
Now sadly back to work on this beautiful day.Mortgage start date Dec 2015 - $64,655.00
