Am I allowed to do this? I've paid tax on the amounts gained, all visible on my payslip.
I'd like to make the most of the tax top-up using carry-forward...
I'm a UK citizen employed in UK, & the company, listed in the US gave us the stock options as part of our remuneration which have vested over a few years.
