    Thanks all reply's
I did notice the kindly mentioned negligible difference in payments.
Also the quoted 168 per year over two years is small in. Comparison to 999 fee.
I do intend to call Natwide and ask their thought on these trackers.
Though I am very limited as cannot move to another provider for a few years yet -and possibly wont be a home owner if renal flat becomes available which is why I thought tracker could be sensible this time in addition to my lowered flat valuation during 2017 which rocketed my LTV since 2009 purchase.
My Natwide call last week suggest ltv is lower this time @76% approx (from almost 90% 2017)
And maybe valuation is in effect maybe recovering albeit slowly. Which is nice.

Thanks mser's approx 2 weeks to decide (that's the allowed switch from upto 5 months from deal ending offer)
I don't guess rate rises though upto 5months suggests Nationwide are allowing ample time for current mortgage holders to switch ahead of any 2018 rate rises
I'm not watching time with svr climbing over 4%
It's one of my favourite times getting to choose another mortgage deal with some decision making of my own.

You are totally running off in the wrong direction on the way this works.
The higher rate, no fee product, looks favourite on your outstanding balance on the face of it.
The comparison between the two rates is unaffected by underlying base rates.

You are paying 0.4% more on £42,000 to save a £999 fee.

That's around £168 a year over two years.
Don't be confused by the monthly payments which are 2/3rds repayment of capital 1/3rd interest.
If you are still confused have Nationwide explain it to you and recommend a rate.

Thanks I've tonight decided against adding 999 fee -I did see the projected costs over 2 year tracker though didn't note them, a few few hundred over 2 years could have been added and I didn't want to run up interest if I didn't manage to pay off the fee in 2 years.
Whilst I've been various fix's since moving 2009 -2yr/5yr/2yr which have been fine.
I'm amazed that I can actually get this tracker tonight as svr is deemed to be 77% approx.
    24 payments of £265.57
    2 Year Tracker
    2.34% (Variable: base rate + 1.59%)
This will be valid from 1st April 2019
100 paid in from Nationwide upto 1 month later.
Quite comfortable until rates change , maybe they will increase at some point hopefully small increments as mentioned a few times from B.O.E
Thanks all who took time to provide their advice via mser's.com
