Discharged from bankruptcy. Credit report query?

Hello.

I was made bankrupt in June 2014, and therefore discharged June 2015.

I had 4 account that i had balances with that were included in this bankruptcy.

Over the last 18 months i have been able to get a credit card in order to build my credit score back up and have recently got back into the 'Good' section on the experian scoring system.

My question relates to those 4 accounts that were written off as part of the process;

When i go to the defaulted accounts section in my credit report it lists all 4 of them. 2 are showing as a £0 balance but the other 2 still show the amount i owed them at the time bankruptcy. This is currently causing me a problem with a potential lender. Does anyone know why this might be? Is it a mistake or do different lenders process differently. The 2 balances still showing are with the same bank (Halifax) if this helps.

Thanks in advance.

    It’s unlikely you will get any mainstream credit until the 6 years is up after that point it will get better. I wasn’t able to get a normal bank account until the BR dropped of my credit report.

    Unfortunately experian may have you as good but this won’t make any difference to lenders as they have their own scores. Experian don’t lend any money so take it with a pinch of salt.
