CSM and fraud investigation

I have been fighting since 2016 to get child support off my child’s “father” he has been working and claiming (he has custody of another child from a previous relationship) and every time I’ve asked CSM to do a benefit check, they say they have and he isn’t getting anything! Anyway, it would seem that NOT ONE OF THEM HAVE DONE A CHECK!!!! Ever! So now, it’s going down the fraud investigation route because they can see that he does get benefits and I have sent evidence in if his work van etc. Does anybody know what happens? They won’t tell me over the phone 😏 Any advice is welcome, I just want what’s owed to my child. Thank you in advance

It will be a different team that will deal with the fraud investigation to the ones that have looked at the case previously. That’s possibly why they can’t tell you very much.
My case has been with the Financial Investigations Unit since the middle of last year and they called me yesterday to say they are now ready to take action against him for fraudulent declarations. It isn’t a quick process unfortunately as they have a lot of work to do in. The background. They won’t tell you very much during their investigation in case it risks their case.
HMRC will also become involved as CMS are compelled to tell them if they find information regarding undeclared earnings. This is also happening in my case as CMS have found proof of conservator earnings over and above the amicable by my ex has declared to HMRC. The declarations he did make were only done under threat of fines anyway so have been in doubt all along.0
