Mortgage on hourly paid contract.

I have recently been saving up for a deposit. I have saved around about 15k mark. I have worked the past couple of years on an hourly paid contract (minimum wage £7.38). Doing no less then 35 hours a week. Just looking for a bit of advice on whether or not I would ever be accepted for a mortgage in this type of employment. Thanks.

you generally can only borrow x4.5 of your annual salary, good saving up for a deposit, continuing saving and advance your career to buy the house you want"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

I got a mortgage when I was on a 30 hour week core contract on around £10k ish a year. .i could borrow I think it was upto £40k, but have a look on various calculators. Their main concern was I could afford it (I had no loans etc) and I was on a permanent contract. It is possible, just depends on your house price but it is possible:T:T  :beer::beer: to the lil one
