  • I can't praise Trinity highly enough! I've moved a few times now and just wish I'd known about them already. After wasting a few weeks of my life with L&C, only to be told that no lender would give me a mortgage in my situation, I went onto the Trinity page and used the online chat feature to briefly explain my circumstances. Within seconds, a chap called Oliver had asked when was a good time to chat - when we spoke he was reassuring and helpful, explained everything, and was confident that getting a mortgage would not be a problem. That was on Wednesday evening - by first thing the following Monday, I had a mortgage offer, from Halifax (not even a specialist high-rate lender), at a lower rate than the one L&C claimed to have tried to get me! Every single step of this process was made easy and simple by Oliver and his team, and next time I need a mortgage I'm going straight to Trinity!
  • I echo the post above. You will find an earlier diatribe from me about my awful experience with Habito. I persevered and contacted Trinity. What a revelation. I can't praise Sophie Roe of Trinity highly enough. Smart, engaged, and an excellent communicator. She guided me through the forms and process, quickly answered questions and queries and then came up with a better way to source a mortgage that matched our needs and budget. The first application was successful demonstrating that she understood our brief and her market. If she is an example of Trinity then they are a great company but I advise you to call and ask for Sophie.

    Can't praise them enough.

They were recommended by a friend. I used them for one remortgage and will be using them again.

I knew I'd sell in less than 2 years so I wanted a tracker with no early repayment charges. The L&C person I was speaking to didn't understand that i was looking at the cost (upfront fees + interest) over that time period - he kept talking about the APR, which was totally meaningless. Anthony at Trinity was very efficient in sorting everything out. To be fair, my situation was very straightforward, but the fact that Trinity handled everything was a big help. I had actually first approached the lender (HSBC) directly, but they insisted for me and my partner to show up in person at a branch at the same time, Mon to Fri only, which would have been impossible as we work far from each other and I wasn't going to take time off work for this. Note for HSBC: if you sorted out your internal bureaucracy, you'd pay less fees to brokers!

I also recommended them to an acquaintance.

And, thinking of my next purchase (probably after Brexit, we'll see) they have given me quotes for products (part-interest, part-repayment) from Barclays and Santander which, as far as I can see, are available only through brokers.

We have been so impressed by Trinity financial and especially Jay Hathi who helped us secure our mortgage with Nat West.

Our circumstances were quite tricky in that my husband is an EU National, 100 per cent of our income is paid in Euro and we are both in our fifties. We didn't think we stood a chance. From the beginning Jay was quite confident he could sort something out for us. It took us quite some time to build up our credit records etc (as we'd been out of the country for a while) but Jay was always available for advice and guidance on the run up to our application. He answered all our questions and queries and never made us feel we were being a nuisance ( I called a lot!) We were quite anxious as we were also first time buyers but he was always at the end of the phone, calm and ready to ease our nerves.

In the end, due to Jay's knowledge and expertise our application went through without a hitch and we are now sitting in our lovely new home.

We really can't recommend Jay and Trinity Financial enough. He is approachable, friendly, courteous, patient and certainly know his stuff! We wont hesitate to use the company again when it's time to re mortgage.
