Want to travel the world

Options
Hello all,

I lurk on these boards for many years now. The first Reason I don't post is: I am french and I only learnt English at school….. 30 years ago.

So, at the beginning of december, I was in debt

cc1: 4479 euros, 12.90%, min 152,17 euros
cc2: 4500 euros, 12.90%, min 155 euros
loan: 4492 euros, 2.50%, min 149 euros
mortage: 34000, 3.40%, 927,83 euros

And then….. we had an inheritance!!!!! So I paid off everything, and we are now debt and mortage free.

It's time to travel. We plan a one year travel to South and central America in 2020. we need savings. A very, very big saving account!

So, we are a family of 7: oh and I, dd2, her BF, her son(DGS), dd3, dd4, and a dog. We live in a house near Paris, we have a garden. I plan to try a little vegetables garden this summer.

My first target is to save 12000€ to pay for flights. Now that everything is paid off we have 1000€ spare. I will try to have this amount by the end of august. I need to declutter and sell everything I can.

  • Hello,

I went groceries shopping. It came at 88.41 euros, but I paid 53 euros. I had vouchers. So I put 9 euros in the 52 weeks challenge pot and kept what remains in my purse for top up and fun money.

10 items sold for 17.80 euros. I will put that in the travel pot.

The washing machine is on. I have to photograph things to list.
