Anyone dealt with L'Oreal with faulty products?

Two months ago, I bought a bottle of L'Oreal's Hydra Genius. It comes in a glass bottle with a pump. The pump broke and with the top unable to open to access the product as its bolted on.

I rang the customer service number which then sent me an e-mail with some questions such as when and where purchased and where its stored, Along to send a photo. Then gave me a freepost address to send to see if the problem is a fault, they will send a free replacement. Along with the note on my address and case number, I put that the pump began sticking a bit a few times before it finally packed up.

Told me to wait two weeks. Has anyone had sent any L'Oreal products to their freepost address and what was the outcome?
