Hi
We're first time buyers I'm employed and husband CIS for last 12 months. What can I get prepared paperwork wise for the application other than payslips, CIS statement and bank statements? Any tips welcome to speed up the process thanks

If you're not with a broker, I'd say get one. I'd say if you've got a large deposit you'll likely be OK unless there's anything majorly untoward in your credit history.
Kensington are SLOW, but there's a lot of people on here (myself included) who have got with them when most others wouldn't touch us.
For my application - I needed:- bank statements (3 months)
- 4 months payslips
- credit card statements
- letter explaining my debts
- p60

Thank you, I'll clear all my debts fully in next 2 weeks as I've an interim payment on inheritance, so guess good idea to get proof of debts being cleared in case credit report rakes long to update.0
